National Headache Awareness Week, sponsored by the National Headache Foundation, is a great time to take a look at things we can change to decrease the frequency and severity of our Migraines. This year's theme is "Headache Relief: 12 Tips for a Headache Free Year." 
Communication is key to handling Migraine disease. We need to always be on the lookout for information about the disease itself, new treatments and more. Email newsletters can be a great source of information. Rather than "reinventing the wheel," MAGNUM is pleased to announce that the free Putting Our Heads Together email newsletter, edited by our Support Advisor Teri Robert, will now include a section for MAGNUM news in each issue. Putting Our Heads Together has been addressing issues dear to MAGNUM hearts since it's beginning. We want to thank Dr. Robert for adding a MAGNUM news section. PHILADELPHIA, October 8th, 2004. MAGNUM management team was invited to attend the 2004 Patient Advocacy Leaders Summit (PALS) Congress held October 6-8 in Philadelphia, PA, USA. MAGNUM's management team included Executive Director Michael John Coleman, Information Services Director Susan Moeller Denny, and Legislative Director Terri Miller Burchfield. The event was organized by GlaxoSmithKline and brought together over 200 patient advocacy leaders from health non-government organizations (NGOs) from around the world.
Staff members of MAGNUM, The National Migraine Association, delivered a Migraine disease health promotion and education presentation: 'How to Avoid and Overcome Migraines' for the CDC National Center for Health Statistics, located in Hyattsville Maryland, this past Thursday August 5, 2004.
